This Contemporary Desert Home Was Designed To Have A Low Impact On The Surrounding Environment

Ibarra Rosano Design Architects designed this contemporary home in Marana, Arizona, that appears to hover above the desert floor so as to not disturb the surrounding natural environment.

The home has a bridge that leads you to the front door, so that the home would have as little impact on the natural landscape as possible.

This raised cube-like structure is actually the deck for the swimming pool.
